PASTOR AND STAFF JOB POSTINGS

Rosewood Church of the Nazarene

 

is seeking an Office Administrator. This is a contract position.

Our regular office administrator will be going on maternity leave this fall. We need a
reliable person to fill her position.

Start Date: October 2022 will be a time of training and becoming familiar with the responsibilities.
Regular hours will be Tuesdays through Fridays 9 AM to 5 PM for
32 hours per week. Salary will be discussed with successful applicants.

Toronto Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene

 

is seeking a Lead Pastor with the gifts and graces to lead and
shepherd this congregation. This is a Permanent Co-Vocational position.

This is a congregation of the Canada Central District Church of the Nazarene.
The successful applicant will be in agreement with the doctrines
and polity of the Church of the Nazarene.

He or She will need to be eligible to work in Canada.

 

Position Overview 

 

This is a preferred co-vocational position. As Lead Pastor of Emmanuel Church,
you will live out the vision & mission and lead the church and the
Ministry Teams in doing the same. In addition to the responsibilities and
core competencies listed below, it is expected that the Lead Pastor
will meet the needs of the church as presented and exhibit
qualities of a mature spiritual leader.

 

Supervision 


The Lead Pastor will report directly to and provide regular updates
to the Board. The Lead Pastor’s performance will be
evaluated by the Board
and District Superintendent, as per the Manual of the
Church of the Nazarene.

Build Community Impact: Outreach and evangelism (30%)
Equip the Saints for Ministry: Discipleship & spiritual formation (20%)
Develop Church Leadership Capacity: Leadership Team/Ministry Leader (20%)

listed below, it is expected that the Lead Pastor will meet the needs

This is a full-time position with expected hours of 40 per week.

 

Supervision

the Leadership team and District Superintendent, as per the
Manual of the Church of the Nazarene.
